- I love following Jessica Yellin online and appreciate how she breaks down what is happening in the world to make it easy to understand and factual (#newsnotnoise). That said, I was super excited to read her first novel and this book was such a great read! Once you pick it up, you will not be able to put it down! Set in the cutthroat world of cable news, Natalie Savage is a character you can really relate to as she is smart, ambitious, witty and you are rooting for her to become her cable network's next White House correspondent. The book is smart witty and it brings the perfect amount of levity to the current political climate. I found myself cheering her on and smiling at every turn. You will love it!
- Very well-written insider look at the cutthroat cable news game. Of course, the reader is left wondering how much of the tale is autobiographical...and who the antihero character would be in real life. (Also, James?? Mmmmm.) I'm a big fan of Yellin's online and her intelligence shines through in this witty and well-paced book that hoists the industry right up its own petard.

- I was 'in' from page one - it's an easy, fun read with characters you can picture. It's a great story, especially in todays climate and even though I don't work in TV politics, the evil office co-worker characters are so believable (and I'm sure exist in real life!!). I also love it when the good guys come out on top, -).

- Loved this book, wasn’t sure when I started but it picked up and I couldn’t put it down. It ended just a bit too neatly but left an opening for Yellin to pick the story up in a new book!
- Wow! What a fun read! If you’ve ever wanted a behind the scenes look into the cut throat world of cable news, Savage News is your book. I was captivated by the end of the first chapter. Jessica Yellin’s cable news background makes this a can-you-guess-who’s-who page turner. This book is so good I’m already itching for a sequel. It’s the Devil Wears Prada for the news business.
